I recently met a family at their home for a family photo session. We did a few pictures at their place then took a little walk to a nearby place they love to hang as a family. It was a new location for me which made it really fun to visit. As a family they go there to run around, walk the dog and spend time. A location that is special to a family makes the photos even more personal and unique. I loved what we captured, here are a few faves:
We started this family mini session bright and early to catch the most magical light and capture these little cuties when they were fresh. I have really enjoyed watching these children grow up through several sessions we have done together. We captured so many sweet moments in a quick 30 minute mini session, here are just a handful of my favorites from the shoot!
I am so lucky to have gotten to know this incredible family over the years. This was our shoot #4 and this time they had a new family member! Big brother was great with his little bro and as always, I had the best time catching up with the parents and photographing this warm family. Here are photos of this family of four:
I used to be so good about blogging but since going back to work almost 9 months ago I have not been able to carve out the time to post. So I will try to catch up on all the shoots I have done. The first post was my first shoot when I went back to work last summer. Everything about the shoot was wonderful from the family to their stunning home, the lighting and of course the photos turned out just as I had hoped. Here are some photos that I absolutely adore!
Baby Bentley was sweet as can be at his newborn shoot. He was quite sleepy and really easy to pose. His parents had some creative ideas which were beautiful additions to the images. We did mom’s maternity pictures not long before at the beach so it was nice to see them again as parents. Here are some of the darling shots we took:

Liam was a sweet newborn baby that I photographed a few weeks ago. He was tiny and sleepy and so easy to work with. He was easy to pose and his nursery was darling. His parents were warm and welcoming which made for a really nice session. There were so many photos I loved, here are my selects:

Olivia is a little cutie that I have photographed a few times in her first year. First when she was a newborn and then again at the three month mark! Well, it was so nice to see how she has grown and changed into a little girl! She was walking and talking, laughing and chasing the dog. She had a tea party, birthday cake and finished with a bath! It was a really fun shoot and we took some beautiful photos:

This darling family had three boys, twin babies and a sweet two year old. We did a variety of images of the twins, some family portraits and then the oldest went outside to play. The family was warm and inviting and made life with 3 little ones look easy! Here are some of the photos we took:

Sienna was five weeks old at our photo session. She was captivated by the camera and was always looking wherever I was. Her parents were so warm and welcoming and I really enjoyed our shoot. They had an array of beautiful headbands and hats to choose from. Their sweet little pup was always by their side and managed to be in lots of the photos. Here are my selects!

In October I photographed newborn baby Darby. Her parents had the whole family in town for the holidays so we held the session on the beach in Laguna where the family was staying. It was a gorgeous morning and a fun and energetic family which made for some great photos. We did the large group portraits and then broke it down and did photos with parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, etc. Darby did so well, taking a quick snack break but powering through the many photos we took! She was so darling and it was nice to see them again. Here they are, one big happy family!
