I photographed this family during one of my 30 minute holiday mini sessions at a park in Beverly Hills. We have been friends since college but I hadn’t seen them for awhile and had not had the pleasure of getting to know their kids until this fun photo shoot. They were kind and sweet, playful and so easy to photograph. I loved getting to capture their love and energy. Here are my favorites from our session together:
These dear friends wanted to do something a little different for their holiday card this year and I could not be more obsessed with the photos we captured. We visited the Retna Wall on Melrose which has since been painted over. To me, it makes these photos even more special and unique. We all had a lot of fun with a mix of portraits and play. I adore the wardrobe choices they made and especially the pops of red! Such a special session with an amazing family.
It has been 3 years since I have posted to my blog and I have really missed this aspect of my work. I find it so challenging to take so many photos I love and then only really use one or two on my website (BeautiesandBabies.com) or instagram page (@BeautiesandBabies). Blogging is a nice way to reflect on the sessions I have done and see all the photos I really enjoyed capturing with the families I work with. Here is a really sweet family I got to work with over the holiday season. They had two precious and smiley girls who made my job incredibly easy. I am crazy about these photos and here are my favorites from the session!
