Newborn baby Avery was sweet as could be on her first photo shoot. She was happy and sleepy, a dream to photograph. Her family was kind and absolutely gorgeous. A highlight was when the girls’ dad got into the crib for his daughter…..it was perfect. They were such a loving family and I love all the photos we took. Here are my favorites:
I am always excited when parents have personal items to incorporate into the newborn photo session. These awesome parents had some really fun and unique props that made for some really sweet photos with a personal touch. This was my second shoot with this happy family who had me back to document their newest family member. We did the session in their home which I always love since it adds a personal touch to the photos. The kids were darling and so happy and it was a wonderful shoot. Last holiday season (I am still playing catch up on my blog posts) I photographed this sweet family of four for mom’s birthday and their holiday card. It was a quick shoot and it was the first time I had a family in all black and white clothing….great idea! The tent made for a colorful and playful background and we had a really fun shoot. Sweet little Sebastian was as easy as could be for his newborn session. He was sleepy and easy to position and had the most perfect nursery. I am so lucky to get to do what I love and meet such amazing families! Here are my favorite images from the day:
My nephew Luca was born 12 days late and ended up born in July, zodiac sign cancer. So naturally we had a perfect hat waiting, just in case. With a first birthday around the corner, we took photos of this loving family before the birthday celebration. We held the session at their home and the boys were sweet and silly with loads of smiles. A few months ago I photographed this gorgeous family in their new home with their brand new bundle of joy. He was really tiny and so sweet and the parents were so overjoyed and in love. Typically newborn sessions are done within the baby’s first 14 days of life. This ensures sleepiness, flexibility so they can go into those tiny tuck poses and also is the window of time before baby acne and dry skin are in full force. Well, although we slightly missed that time window (she was 3 weeks old), Jessie was definitely the exception to that rule and slept like a champ! We did the shoot at her gorgeous home near the beach where mom and dad had amazing props and a perfect setting for the shoot. I adore the photos and loved working with such a sweet little angel!
