The holidays are a wonderful time filled with family, love, special events and parties, gifts, and celebration. But they can also be a stressful time for people getting ready- shopping, calendars filled with commitments, and so much more piled onto our already busy lives. Then there are holiday cards…do you send them out? For those who do this can be a daunting yet rewarding task. As much of a pain it is to take the photo, order/stamp/address and send the cards. But as much of a time consuming process as it is, it is so nice to receive them in the mail every year. I love seeing families and how the kids have grown. It is one of the only forms of mail that I really look forward to receiving anymore! I put them out in our home and the kids talk about them and look forward to adding new ones to the wall each day. It is a really nice tradition and is one that I hope never dies.

Below is a family session that I captured last year for the holidays. This was a weekday mini session done at a local park. I love the colors of the environment with the morning light combined with the light tones they are wearing.
