Newborn sessions are usually done within the first 14 days of the baby’s life to ensure they are sleepy and will easily go into those little tucked poses. This can be hard to do for some families who are just settling into life with a newborn. During this stage of my life I was exhausted, emotional and kind of a wreck. That was not at all the case with the family of this recent newborn shoot. The parents were calm and patient with the process. Dad read books to big brother while mom nursed the baby. During the shoot, they were encouraging as big brother approached his new baby sister. Watching this family gave me such joy and I love the images we captured!
