A year ago I shot maternity pictures for Ryan & Ali who had a very tough pregnancy and Ali was on bed rest in the hospital when we did her photo session (PHOTOS). Her twin girls were born just a few days later at just 29 weeks gestation. The babies were tiny at around 2 pounds each and were kept in the NICU for many weeks. The parents were hopeful but did not know what was going to happen and visited their babies daily in hope for the best.

This week these beautiful girls turned one and we did a shoot in honor of their birthday and Valentine’s day, and as a celebration of their lives. Cienna and Rylee are healthy, energetic and full of life and capturing their smiles and spirit brought great joy to my day. Happy birthday girls, may all your dreams come true!!
