Since I was a little girl, my dad has always had a camera in hand. When I decided to do maternity pictures with my husband Justin, I figured who better to shoot them than the man who inspired me to pursue photography! We shot at a beach in Malibu and the day started out hazy and overcast, which gave us a cool airy effect. As the morning went on, the sun rolled in and we were able to get a bit of both. I learned a great deal about Maternity photography from this experience and I now fully understand how pregnant women feel getting their photo taken. All I can say is thank God for retouching!! All in all, I love the pictures and wanted to share them with you. It is a really special time in life and one that is definitely worth documenting as the time flies by really fast!
